Destiny 2: Predicting the Prismatic Subclass' Impact on the Meta

As if Destiny 2's Final Shape expansion wasn't anticipated enough as it is, players will gain access to the brand-new Prismatic subclass upon starting the expansion, and it looks like it could very well shake things up for the meta. Rather than introducing a new damage type as every other subclass in Destiny 2 has done, the Prismatic subclass will allow players to combine their powers of Light and Darkness for one of the game's most versatile subclasses to date. As Bungie has been prioritizing buildcrafting in Destiny 2 for some time now, the Prismatic subclass could be considered the developer's coup de grace after a long series of mishaps and pitfalls.
